2009 UHSAA Drill Team Rules Clinics
The UHSAA requires that all Drill Team Coaches attend a UHSAA Drill Team Clinic every year. Coaches should make arrangements to attend one of the following UHSAA Drill Clinics in order to meet the coaching requirement. The requirement for coaches to take a test at the clinic has been replaced with additional hands-on training. Failure to attend one of the following clinics will result in a $50.00 fine to the school.
Individuals interested in becoming a certified UHSAA Competition Director, Routine Judge and/or Technical (Penalty) Judge are required to attend a clinic and successfully pass a test regarding the NFHS rules.
Coaches, Competition Directors and Drill Judges are responsible for all the information contained in the NFHS Spirit Rule Book. Spirit Rule Books will be mailed to participating high schools on August 12, 2009 or are now available for purchase at the UHSAA office. An abbreviated copy of the NFHS rules cannot be included in the UHSAA Yearbook this year.

Saturday, September 12 @ Cedar City High School (703 W. 600 S., Cedar City)
Saturday, September 19 @ Bonneville High (251 E. Laker Way, Washington Terrace)

8:30 – 10:00 a.m. Competition Directors
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. GENERAL SESSION FOR EVERYONE
Coaches, Competition Directors, Routine & Technical (Penalty) Judges

10:00 – 12:00 p.m. Practicum Sessions for Coaches and Routine Judges
Routine Judges will be required to complete a test at the conclusion.
12:30 p.m. - TBD Practicum Session for Technical (Penalty) Judges, Coaches Welcome to Stay
Technical Judges will be required to complete a test at the conclusion.
